How to prepare an offer of non-ferrous raw materials
The more precisely a lot is described, the faster a buyer can assess it. Here is what to include in your offer.

An offer to sell non-ferrous metal or raw materials is assessed on the same questions every time: what the material is, how much there is, what quality it is and on what terms it can be shipped. When the answers are there from the start, the assessment takes less time.
What to include
- The type of material: copper, aluminium, zinc, cathodes, ingots or other raw material
- The chemical composition or grade, from an analysis if you have one
- The volume available now and the possible monthly volume
- Where the material is and the delivery basis, for example EXW, FCA or DAP
- The price and currency
- A contact person and the best way to reach them
Photos and documents
Photos help judge the type and cleanliness of the material before an inspection. If you have a certificate or an analysis report, attach it — it cuts down the follow-up questions.
Regular supply
If you can supply the material regularly, say so separately. For a buyer, a steady volume often matters more than a single large lot.
